I’m Lauren Schwartz, and I am a wedding and senior portrait photographer based in the beautiful lakeside town of Marquette, MI. The search for the ‘right’ photographer can be overwhelming, and it is so important to chose someone who understands your vision and fits your style.

I seek to capture the heart of your day, from the bold portraits to the fleeting candid moments. My style is timeless elegance and classic romance. For weddings, I love documenting faith traditions and family connections. Family is everything, and I want you to look back on the first day of your marriage and see how the most important people in your life celebrated with you. Most importantly, I love capturing the first moments of marriage and the indelible commitment two humans make with each other and with God. It is always an honor for me to be such an intimate part of a couple’s wedding day.

For seniors, I go beyond the studio smile and pose. Tell me your favorite joke, bring an instrument or pet, something that is a part of you. Once we get that more formal yearbook photo done, I look for the genuine expressions as you be yourself. No matter how comfortable you are in front of a camera, I will make sure the session is fun and easy with amazing results.

Personal Info

I live with my husband of 6 years and our two little children in the woods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. At home I love cooking and baking, especially with produce from our two gardens. My other passions outside photography are horseback riding and creative nonfiction writing for lifestyle magazines.
